Oatman, Arizona
Yesterday day I went to Oatman with my brother Dave and his wife Jan. Oatman is an old mining boom town that was resurrected by Rout 66 road traffic after it's early hay-day in the early 20th Century.
The donkeys are descended from the original donkeys that worked in the local mines. Their ancestors were turned loose when the mines shut down. They REALLY liked the carrots I brought to feed to them. Here one of them is disappointed that I've run out. Sorry bud...
